🔥 Cheesy Shell Carnivore Tacos
🧀 Ingredients
For the Cheese Shells:
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella, Monterey Jack, etc.)
Parchment paper or silicone baking mat
For the Filling:
1 lb ground beef (80/20 is great)
4 slices of bacon, chopped
1/2 lb ground pork or sausage (optional for variety)
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp black pepper (optional for dirty carnivore)
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional – dirty carnivore)
1 tbsp beef tallow or butter (optional, for extra fat)
Toppings (Optional):
Shredded cheese
Crispy bacon bits
Fried egg
Carnivore sour cream (whipped cream cheese + beef gelatin)
Bone marrow butter drizzle
🔪 Instructions
1. Make the Cheese Shells
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use a silicone mat.
Make 4 small mounds of shredded cheese (about 1/2 cup each), spaced apart.
Flatten each mound into a circle (~5–6 inches).
Bake for 6–8 minutes, until bubbly and golden around the edges.
Remove and let cool for 1 minute, then drape each over a wooden spoon handle, spatula handle, or bowl edge to form a taco shell shape.
Let them harden (2–3 minutes).
2. Make the Meat Filling
In a skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crisp.
Add ground beef (and pork/sausage if using).
Cook until browned and cooked through.
Add salt and any optional seasonings. Stir well.
Drain excess fat if needed (or keep for juiciness!).
3. Assemble Tacos
Place the cheese shell on a plate.
Add a generous scoop of hot meat filling.
Top with optional carnivore toppings (extra cheese, bacon, or egg).
Serve immediately while the shells are still crispy!
🥓 Tips & Variations
Use different cheese types for the shell — try pepper jack for spice!
Add liver (ground/blended) into the meat mix for added nutrients.
If you’re dirty carnivore, a touch of mustard or hot sauce can be nice.
