This Chicken Bacon Casserole combines juicy chicken, crispy bacon, and a rich creamy cheese sauce baked until golden and bubbling. Comfort food without the carbs.
INGREDIENTS
2 lbs chicken thighs or breasts, cooked & cubed
8 slices bacon, cooked & chopped
1½ cups heavy cream
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1½ cups cheddar cheese, shredded
½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper (optional)
1 tbsp butter or bacon grease
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a baking dish with butter or bacon grease.
Prepare the Creamy Base
In a saucepan over low heat, add heavy cream and cream cheese.
Stir until smooth and fully melted.
Season with salt and pepper.
Assemble the Casserole
Spread chicken evenly in the baking dish.
Sprinkle chopped bacon over chicken.
