Ginger Water: Fat-Burning Health Drink


Ingredients

  • 1–2 inches fresh ginger root

  • 4 cups (1 liter) water

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for flavor and extra detox benefits)

  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for taste)


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Ginger

  1. Wash the ginger root thoroughly.

  2. Peel it lightly with a spoon or knife.

  3. Slice it thinly or grate it for stronger infusion.


Step 2: Boil the Ginger

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.

  2. Add the sliced or grated ginger.

  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes for a strong brew.


Step 3: Add Lemon and Sweetener (Optional)

  1. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

  2. Strain the water into a cup or pitcher to remove ginger pieces.

  3. Stir in lemon juice and honey if desired.


Step 4: Drink

  • Drink 1–2 cups per day: morning on an empty stomach or before meals can help with digestion and metabolism.

  • Can be consumed warm or cold.
