Crispy Air Fryer Cauliflower

🛒 Ingredients
1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
2 tbsp olive oil
½ cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional but recommended)
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Optional Batter (for extra crispy coating)
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup milk (or plant-based milk)
Pinch of salt
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the Cauliflower
Wash and thoroughly dry the cauliflower florets.
Make sure pieces are similar size for even cooking.
2️⃣ Choose Your Coating Style
🔹 Simple Crispy (No Batter – Lighter Version)
Toss florets with olive oil.
In a separate bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Coat cauliflower evenly in breadcrumb mixture.
🔹 Extra Crispy (Battered Version)
Whisk flour, milk, and salt to create a smooth batter.
Dip each floret into batter, letting excess drip off.
Roll in breadcrumb mixture to coat completely.
3️⃣ Air Fry
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Arrange cauliflower in a single layer (do not overcrowd).
Cook for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
For extra crispiness, cook an additional 2–3 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
Cauliflower should be golden brown and crispy on the edges.
4️⃣ Serve
Sprinkle with extra Parmesan or fresh parsley.
Serve with ranch, garlic aioli, spicy mayo, or marinara sauce.
Add a squeeze of lemon for brightness.
