🍬 Carnivore Candy (Zero-Carb Treat)
Crispy | Sweet-ish | 100% Animal-Based
🥓 Ingredients (Base Version):
4–6 slices bacon (sugar-free, ideally thick-cut)
1 tbsp beef tallow or bacon grease
Optional: pinch of salt
🍬 Optional Sweet Carnivore Version:
1–2 tsp powdered allulose (zero-carb, carnivore-acceptable sweetener)
1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional, omit for strict version)
Dash of cinnamon (optional, carnivore-ish)
🔥 Instructions:
🥓 Option 1: Air Fryer or Oven Method
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (or oven to 400°F).
Prepare bacon:Â Lay bacon flat and brush with melted tallow. Optional: sprinkle with a tiny bit of powdered allulose.
Cook:
Air fryer: 10–12 minutes until crispy.
Oven: 15–18 minutes on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
Cool: Let bacon cool completely — it will crisp up even more.
Break into pieces — now you have crispy, fatty carnivore “candy”!
🥩 Option 2: Beef Jerky Candy
Use crispy beef jerky chips or dehydrated beef fat (suet).
Toss in melted tallow + optional allulose while still warm.
Let cool and harden — becomes like a sweet meat crisp.
💡 Carnivore Candy Variations:
| Type | Ingredients | Flavor Profile |
|---|---|---|
| Pork Candy | Bacon + tallow + allulose | Sweet, crispy, fatty |
| Beef Candy | Beef jerky + tallow | Savory-sweet meat chips |
| Fat Bark | Rendered beef fat + whipped egg whites | Crunchy, airy fat treat |
🧊 Storage:
Store in airtight container at room temp for 1–2 days.
Refrigerate up to 5 days (crispiness may reduce — air fry to re-crisp).
