3–4 apples (Honeycrisp, Fuji, Gala, or Granny Smith)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, prevents browning)
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons brown sugar

¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Pinch of salt
Optional: ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Caramel Sauce
½ cup store-bought caramel sauce
or homemade caramel (recipe below)

1. Prep the Apples
Wash, core, and slice apples into thick wedges.
Toss with lemon juice (optional).
2. Season
In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla.
Add apple wedges and toss until evenly coated.
3. Air Fry
Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
Arrange apples in a single layer in the basket.
Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until tender and lightly caramelized.

Ingredients
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup butter
¼ cup heavy cream
Pinch of salt
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir in brown sugar and cream.
Simmer 3–5 minutes, stirring constantly until thick.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.
