Air Fryer Pancakes (Perfect for Supper)
These soft, fluffy pancakes made in the air fryer are quick and easy. They’re great for a light supper and can be topped with sweet or savory ingredients.
Ingredients (Serves 2–3)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 egg
¾ cup milk
1 tbsp melted butter or vegetable oil
½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Optional toppings for supper:
Honey or maple syrup
Fresh fruit (berries, banana slices)
Yogurt
Peanut butter
Scrambled eggs or cheese for a savory option
Instructions
1. Make the Batter
In a bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl whisk egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
Do not overmix; a few small lumps are fine.
2. Prepare the Air Fryer
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for about 3 minutes.
Lightly grease small silicone molds, ramekins, or a small pan that fits inside the air fryer.
3. Cook the Pancakes
Pour batter into the molds about ¾ full.
Place them in the air fryer basket.
Cook at 180°C (350°F) for 8–10 minutes until the pancakes are set and lightly golden.
4. Check and Remove
Insert a toothpick in the center; if it comes out clean, they are ready. Remove carefully and let cool for 1–2 minutes.
Serve
Top with:
Butter and maple syrup
Yogurt and fruit
Honey and nuts
Cheese and herbs for a savory supper pancake
Tips
Silicone molds work best in the air fryer.
Add blueberries or chocolate chips to the batter for extra flavor.
If you want thinner pancakes, cook them in a small lined pan instead of molds.
