Carnivore Cheesy Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheese

    • Mozzarella (best for bread-like texture)

    • Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a mix also works

  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese (optional but recommended for softness)

  • ¼ teaspoon salt (optional, depending on cheese)

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or beef tallow (optional, for richness)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven

    • Set oven to 375°F (190°C)

    • Line a baking tray with parchment paper

  2. Mix batter

    • In a bowl, whisk the eggs well

    • Add shredded cheese and cream cheese

    • Mix until thick and sticky

    • Stir in salt if using

  3. Shape the bread

    • Spoon mixture onto the baking tray

    • Spread into a flat rectangle or round (about ½ inch thick)

  4. Bake

    • Bake for 15–20 minutes

    • Edges should be golden and center set

  5. Optional crisp

    • Brush with melted butter or tallow

    • Broil for 1–2 minutes (watch closely)

  6. Cool slightly

    • Let rest 5 minutes before slicing
