🌶️ Easy Doritos Taco Salad Recipe

🛒 Ingredients:
For the Salad:
1 lb (450 g) ground beef (or ground turkey/chicken)
1 packet taco seasoning mix (or homemade — see below)
1 medium head of lettuce, chopped (or a bag of shredded lettuce)
2 medium tomatoes, diced
1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
1 can (15 oz / 425 g) kidney beans or black beans, drained and rinsed (optional)
1 cup corn kernels (optional)
1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)
1/4 cup chopped red onion (optional)
2 cups Nacho Cheese Doritos, slightly crushed
For the Dressing:
1 cup Catalina dressing (or French dressing)
👉 You can also use ranch or a mix of ranch + salsa for a different twist!

Cook the Meat:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned.
Drain excess grease, then add the taco seasoning and cook according to the packet instructions (usually with ¼ cup water).
Let it cool slightly.Assemble the Salad:
In a large salad bowl, combine:Chopped lettuce
Diced tomatoes
Cheese
Beans, corn, olives, and onions (if using)
Cooled seasoned taco meat
Add Crunch:
Right before serving, add the crushed Doritos and toss lightly.Dress It Up:
Pour the Catalina dressing (start with about ½ cup, then adjust to taste).
