Chocolate Covered Strawberry Pie

Crust
1 pre-made graham cracker crust (9-inch)
orHomemade option:
1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
6 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons sugar
Chocolate Filling
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Strawberry Layer
2–3 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
Optional Toppings
Whipped cream
Chocolate shavings or drizzle

🔪 Instructions
1. Make the crust (skip if using store-bought)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar.
Press firmly into a 9-inch pie dish.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, then cool completely.
2. Make the chocolate filling
Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
Pour hot cream over chocolate chips in a bowl.
Let sit 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
Stir in vanilla and salt.
3. Assemble the pie
Pour chocolate filling into the cooled crust.
Arrange strawberries cut-side down over the chocolate, covering the surface completely.
Gently press strawberries into the chocolate.
4. Chill
Refrigerate for 3–4 hours, until chocolate is fully set.
5. Serve
Top with whipped cream or chocolate drizzle if desired.
Slice with a sharp knife (wipe clean between cuts).
