🧄 Ingredients (Serves 4)
🍗 Chicken
2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp paprika
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
🍝 Pasta
12 oz linguine
Salted water for boiling
🧈 Creamy Alfredo Sauce
4 tbsp butter
4–5 garlic cloves, minced
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp nutmeg (optional but recommended)
½ cup reserved pasta water (as needed)
🌿 Optional Garnish
Fresh parsley
Extra Parmesan
Red pepper flakes
🔥 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook linguine until al dente according to package instructions.
Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
2️⃣ Cook the Chicken
Season chicken with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and internal temp reaches 165°F.
Remove from pan and rest 5–10 minutes. Slice into strips.
3️⃣ Make the Garlic Butter Alfredo
In the same skillet (don’t wipe it out — flavor!), melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté 30–60 seconds until fragrant (do not brown).
Pour in heavy cream. Simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Lower heat and whisk in Parmesan until smooth.
Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
If sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time.
4️⃣ Combine
Add drained linguine directly into the sauce.
Toss to coat evenly.
Top with sliced chicken or toss it all together.
5️⃣ Serve
Garnish with parsley, extra Parmesan, and red pepper flakes.
Serve immediately while creamy and hot.
⭐ Pro Tips for Ultra Creamy Alfredo
Use freshly grated Parmesan (pre-shredded won’t melt smoothly).
Keep heat medium-low when adding cheese to prevent grainy sauce.
If sauce separates, whisk in a splash of warm cream or pasta water.
🥗 Optional Add-Ins
Sautéed mushrooms
Steamed broccoli
Spinach
Sun-dried tomatoes
