Fresh Fruit Salad
Ingredients
(Serves 4β6)
1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 cup grapes (red or green), halved
1 cup pineapple, diced
1 cup watermelon, cubed
2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
1 orange or mandarin, segmented
1 banana, sliced (optional β add just before serving)
Optional Dressing (Light & Fresh)
1β2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
1 tablespoon fresh lemon or lime juice
Β½ teaspoon grated lemon or orange zest
A few fresh mint leaves, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the fruit: Wash, peel, and cut all fruit into bite-sized pieces.
Combine: Place all fruit (except banana, if using) into a large bowl.
Make dressing (optional): In a small bowl, whisk honey, citrus juice, zest, and mint.
Toss gently: Pour dressing over fruit and toss lightly to coat.
Add banana last: Gently fold in banana slices just before serving to prevent browning.
Chill or serve immediately.
