Ginger with Cloves (Soothing Tea Recipe)

A simple, warming drink made with fresh ginger and whole cloves — great for digestion, immunity, and cold relief.


🛒 Ingredients (1–2 servings)

  • 1-inch fresh ginger root, sliced or crushed

  • 4–6 whole cloves

  • 2 cups water

  • 1–2 tsp honey (optional)

  • 1–2 tsp lemon juice (optional)


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Boil the water
Add 2 cups of water to a small saucepan and bring to a boil.

2️⃣ Add ginger & cloves
Add sliced/crushed ginger and whole cloves.

3️⃣ Simmer
Reduce heat and let simmer for 10–15 minutes.

4️⃣ Strain
Remove from heat and strain into a mug.

5️⃣ Finish & Serve
Add honey and lemon if desired. Stir and enjoy warm.
