🛒 Ingredients

  • 4 cups corn kernels (fresh, frozen, or canned* drained)

  • ¼ cup butter (½ stick)

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • ¼ cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)

  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened (optional but recommended)

  • ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • Optional additions:

    • Pinch of paprika or cayenne (for heat)

    • 1 tablespoon sugar (if corn isn’t very sweet)

    • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Melt the butter
    Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and let it melt completely.

  2. Add corn
    Stir in the corn kernels. Cook for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and lightly sautéed.

  3. Sweeten it
    Add honey and stir well to coat the corn evenly.

  4. Make it creamy
    Lower heat to medium-low. Stir in heavy cream and cream cheese (if using). Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring until smooth and creamy.

  5. Season
    Add salt, pepper, and any optional spices. Taste and adjust seasoning.

  6. Serve hot
    Remove from heat and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

  • Frozen corn: No need to thaw first

  • Canned corn: Drain and pat dry to avoid extra liquid
