🍽 Serves

4 servings

🛒 Ingredients

🍐 Pears

  • 4 ripe but firm pears (Bosc or Anjou work best)

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • Pinch of sea salt

🍯 Honey Glaze

  • 3 tbsp raw honey

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp fresh orange juice (optional but lovely)

  • ½ tsp fresh thyme leaves (optional, for a Mediterranean touch)

🫐 Topping

  • 1 cup fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries)

  • ½ cup chopped walnuts, lightly toasted

  • ⅓ cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1–2 tbsp extra honey for drizzling

  • Fresh mint leaves (optional garnish)

🔥 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Pears

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Slice pears in half lengthwise and scoop out cores with a spoon.

  3. Brush cut sides with lemon juice to prevent browning.

  4. Arrange pears cut-side up in a baking dish.

  5. Brush lightly with olive oil or melted butter.

  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon and a small pinch of salt.

2️⃣ Make the Honey Glaze

In a small bowl, whisk together:

  • Honey

  • Vanilla

  • Orange juice

  • Thyme (if using)

Spoon glaze evenly over each pear half.

3️⃣ Bake

Bake for 20–25 minutes, until pears are tender but still hold their shape.
Baste once halfway through with the pan juices.

4️⃣ Add Toppings

Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
Top each pear with:

  • Fresh berries

  • Toasted walnuts

  • Crumbled feta

Drizzle with additional honey.

5️⃣ Garnish & Serve

Finish with fresh mint and a light crack of black pepper (optional but enhances sweetness beautifully).

Serve warm.

✨ Flavor Tips

  • For extra richness, add a dollop of Greek yogurt.

  • Swap walnuts for pistachios or almonds.

  • Add a sprinkle of orange zest for brightness.

  • For a dessert version, drizzle with dark chocolate.

🥡 Storage

  • Best served fresh.

  • Refrigerate leftovers up to 2 days.

  • Reheat gently at 300°F (150°C) for 8–10 minutes.
