Zero-Carb Carnivore Tortillas (3 Ingredients)

Ingredients (makes 6–8 tortillas)

  • 1 cup liquid egg whites (or whites from ~8 large eggs)

  • 1 tbsp unflavored beef gelatin (or plain gelatin)

  • ¼ cup water
    (Salt is optional and usually not counted as an ingredient)


Instructions

  1. Bloom the gelatin

    • Add gelatin to the ¼ cup water in a small bowl

    • Let sit for 2–3 minutes until fully absorbed

  2. Dissolve the gelatin

    • Gently heat the bloomed gelatin (microwave 10–15 sec or stovetop)

    • Stir until completely liquid — do not boil

  3. Blend

    • Add gelatin mixture to egg whites

    • Blend or whisk thoroughly until fully combined and slightly foamy

  4. Cook the tortillas

    • Heat a non-stick pan on low–medium heat

    • Lightly grease with tallow or butter (optional)

    • Pour a thin layer (like a crepe) into the pan

    • Cook 1–2 minutes until set, then flip

    • Cook another 30–60 seconds

  5. Cool slightly before using

    • They firm up more as they cool and become flexible


Tips for Best Results

  • Low heat is key — too hot makes them brittle

  • Thinner = more flexible

  • Stack cooked tortillas under a towel to keep soft

  • If cracking: add 1–2 tbsp water to the batter next time
