🧾 Ingredients

Crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)

Creamy Layer

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1½ cups whipped topping (or freshly whipped cream)

Strawberry Layer

  • 1 (3 oz / 85 g) box strawberry gelatin (Jell-O)

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • 1 cup cold water

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Topping

  • 1½–2 cups whipped topping

  • Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)


🥣 Instructions

1. Make the Crust

  1. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar.

  2. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch (or similar) dish.

  3. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the layers.


2. Prepare the Creamy Layer

  1. Beat cream cheese until smooth.

  2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix well.

  3. Gently fold in whipped topping.

  4. Spread evenly over the chilled crust.

  5. Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes to set slightly.


3. Make the Strawberry Layer

  1. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water.

  2. Stir in cold water.

  3. Let cool until slightly thickened (important so it doesn’t melt the cream layer).

  4. Fold in sliced strawberries.

  5. Carefully pour over the cream layer.

  6. Refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours, until fully set.


4. Add the Topping

  1. Spread whipped topping over the set strawberry layer.

  2. Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.

  • Slice with a sharp knife, wiping between cuts for clean layers

  • Serve chilled

  • Keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days
