Start with the dressing at the bottom (so everything doesn’t get soggy and then when you tip it upside down to serve, or shake it, everything gets covered with the dressing.

Add some leafy greens – romaine, spinach, kale, rocket (arugula). Then some veggies/fruit like carrot, cucumber, tomatoes, onions, radish, sweetcorn, cabbage and pepper. Then some protein like cooked chicken, tuna, chickpeas or ham. Then I like to top with olives and chillies and they have a lot of flavour.

You can add some grains like brown rice and quinoa to make it more filling and you could add some feta on top too. So easy to customise.
