  • 2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, American, or any you like)

  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

Optional add-ons (totally optional):

  • Chili flakes or hot sauce

  • A pinch of garlic powder

  • Fresh herbs (parsley, chives)

  • Tomato slices or spinach

  1. Toast the bread
    Toast your bread lightly in a toaster or pan until just golden. Set aside.

  2. Cook the eggs
    Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat.
    Crack in the eggs and cook them how you like:

    • Sunny-side up for runny yolks

    • Over-easy or scrambled if you prefer

  3. Add cheese
    While the eggs are almost done, place a slice of cheese on top.
    Cover the pan for 30โ€“60 seconds so the cheese melts nicely.

  4. Assemble
    Place the cheesy eggs on top of the toast.

  5. Season & enjoy
    Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and any extras you like. Serve warm!
