Ingredients

  • 2–4 medium russet potatoes

  • 1–2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

  • 2–4 tablespoons butter (for serving)

Instructions

1. Prep the Potatoes

  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly.

  2. Pat completely dry.

  3. Pierce each potato 3–4 times with a fork (important to release steam).

2. Season

  1. Rub each potato with olive oil or melted butter.

  2. Sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper.

3. Air Fry

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

  2. Place potatoes directly in the air fryer basket, spaced apart.

  3. Cook for 35–45 minutes, flipping halfway through.

    • Small potatoes: ~35 minutes

    • Large potatoes: up to 45 minutes

  4. Potatoes are done when a knife slides in easily and skin is crispy.

4. Serve

  1. Slice each potato open.

  2. Fluff the inside with a fork.

  3. Add butter generously and let it melt.

  4. Finish with extra salt, pepper, and parsley if desired.
