Tzatziki Chicken Pizza (Greek-Inspired)


📝 Ingredients (Makes 1 large 12–14 inch pizza)

🍕 Pizza Base

  • 1 lb (450g) pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, diced or shredded

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella

  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese

  • ¼ small red onion, thinly sliced

🥒 Homemade Tzatziki Sauce

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (full fat preferred)

  • ½ cup grated cucumber (squeezed dry)

  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (or 1 tsp dried)

  • Salt to taste

🌿 Fresh Toppings (after baking)

  • ¼ cup diced cucumber

  • Cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)

  • Kalamata olives, sliced (optional)

  • Fresh parsley or extra dill

  • Extra tzatziki for drizzling


🔪 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Tzatziki

  1. Grate cucumber and squeeze out excess water using a towel.

  2. Mix yogurt, cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, dill, and salt.

  3. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for best flavor.


2️⃣ Season the Chicken

  1. Toss cooked chicken with olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  2. Set aside.

(Shortcut: Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.)


3️⃣ Assemble the Pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. Roll out dough on floured surface.

  3. Brush lightly with olive oil.

  4. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly.

  5. Add seasoned chicken and red onion.

  6. Sprinkle feta over top.


4️⃣ Bake

  • Bake 10–14 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.


5️⃣ Finish & Serve

  • Let cool 2–3 minutes.

  • Top with fresh cucumber, tomatoes, olives.

  • Drizzle generously with tzatziki.

  • Sprinkle fresh herbs.

Slice and serve immediately!


🔥 Optional Add-Ons

  • Add baby spinach before baking.

  • Swap mozzarella for shredded provolone.

  • Use naan or flatbread for a quick version.

  • Add a pinch of crushed red pepper for heat.
