Air Fryer Chicken Wings 🍗🔥
Crispy, juicy chicken wings cooked perfectly in the air fryer with minimal oil. Perfect for snacks, game day, or dinner.
Ingredients (Serves 2–4)
1 kg (2 lbs) chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
1–2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon onion powder
Optional: ¼ teaspoon chili powder for heat
For Sauces (optional)
Buffalo sauce
BBQ sauce
Honey garlic glaze
Instructions
1. Prepare the Wings
Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels – this ensures crispiness.
In a large bowl, toss wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, and chili powder (if using).
2. Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat to 200°C (400°F) for 3–5 minutes.
3. Cook the Wings
Place wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer (don’t overcrowd; cook in batches if needed).
Air fry at 200°C (400°F) for 25–28 minutes.
Shake or flip the wings halfway through cooking for even crispiness.
4. Optional: Toss in Sauce
If using a sauce, toss cooked wings in Buffalo, BBQ, or honey garlic sauce immediately after cooking.
Return to air fryer for 2–3 minutes to set the sauce, if desired.
5. Serve
Serve hot with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and your favorite dip (ranch or blue cheese).
Tips for Extra Crispy Wings
Pat wings completely dry before seasoning.
Spray a light layer of oil on wings for extra crunch.
Cook a few extra minutes if you like them super crispy.
✅ Serving Suggestion:
Pair with fries, a side salad, or baked potato wedges for a full meal.
