Air Fryer Chicken Wings 🍗🔥

Crispy, juicy chicken wings cooked perfectly in the air fryer with minimal oil. Perfect for snacks, game day, or dinner.

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 1 kg (2 lbs) chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats

  • 1–2 teaspoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • Optional: ¼ teaspoon chili powder for heat

For Sauces (optional)

  • Buffalo sauce

  • BBQ sauce

  • Honey garlic glaze

Instructions

1. Prepare the Wings

  1. Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels – this ensures crispiness.

  2. In a large bowl, toss wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, and chili powder (if using).

2. Preheat the Air Fryer

  • Preheat to 200°C (400°F) for 3–5 minutes.

3. Cook the Wings

  1. Place wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer (don’t overcrowd; cook in batches if needed).

  2. Air fry at 200°C (400°F) for 25–28 minutes.

  3. Shake or flip the wings halfway through cooking for even crispiness.

4. Optional: Toss in Sauce

  • If using a sauce, toss cooked wings in Buffalo, BBQ, or honey garlic sauce immediately after cooking.

  • Return to air fryer for 2–3 minutes to set the sauce, if desired.

5. Serve

  • Serve hot with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and your favorite dip (ranch or blue cheese).

Tips for Extra Crispy Wings

  • Pat wings completely dry before seasoning.

  • Spray a light layer of oil on wings for extra crunch.

  • Cook a few extra minutes if you like them super crispy.

Serving Suggestion:
Pair with fries, a side salad, or baked potato wedges for a full meal.
