Creamy Mandarin Orange Fluff Salad
Ingredients
- 2 cans (about 425 g each) mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 can (565 g) pineapple tidbits, drained
- 1 box (96 g) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 cup cottage cheese or vanilla yogurt
- ½ cup sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Fruit
Drain the mandarin oranges and pineapple very well to avoid a watery salad.
2. Mix the Base
In a large bowl, combine:
- whipped topping
- cottage cheese or yogurt
- vanilla pudding mix
- sour cream (if using)
Stir until smooth and creamy.
3. Add Remaining Ingredients
Fold in:
- mandarin oranges
- pineapple
- mini marshmallows
Mix gently so the oranges stay intact.
4. Chill
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving so the flavors blend and the pudding thickens.
5. Serve
Top with extra mandarin orange segments before serving.
