Creamy Mandarin Orange Fluff Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (about 425 g each) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 can (565 g) pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1 box (96 g) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup cottage cheese or vanilla yogurt
  • ½ cup sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Fruit

Drain the mandarin oranges and pineapple very well to avoid a watery salad.

2. Mix the Base

In a large bowl, combine:

  • whipped topping
  • cottage cheese or yogurt
  • vanilla pudding mix
  • sour cream (if using)

Stir until smooth and creamy.

3. Add Remaining Ingredients

Fold in:

  • mandarin oranges
  • pineapple
  • mini marshmallows

Mix gently so the oranges stay intact.

4. Chill

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving so the flavors blend and the pudding thickens.

5. Serve

Top with extra mandarin orange segments before serving.

  • Chopped pecans or walnuts
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Crushed graham crackers
  • Vanilla wafers

Storage

  • Refrigerate up to 3 days.
