Ingredients
For the Patties

- ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (or almond flour for low-carb)
- 1 large egg
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ cup finely diced red onion
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
For Garnish
- Fresh parsley
- Diced red onion
- Diced tomatoes
- Lemon wedges
Optional Tzatziki Sauce
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- ½ cucumber, grated and squeezed dry
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped dill
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Make the Patty Mixture
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, feta cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, parsley, dill, oregano, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until just combined.
2. Shape the Patties
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions.
- Shape into round patties about ½ inch thick.
3. Cook
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
4. Prepare the Tzatziki (Optional)
- Mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Chill until ready to serve.
5. Serve
- Garnish the patties with fresh parsley, diced onion, and tomatoes.
- Serve with lemon wedges and tzatziki sauce alongside roasted vegetables, salad, rice, or pita bread.
