🥩 Air Fryer Ribeye Steak

⏱️ Time

  • Prep: 5 minutes

  • Cook: 8–14 minutes (depends on thickness & doneness)

  • Rest: 5 minutes


🧂 Ingredients (1 steak)

  • 1 ribeye steak (1–1½ inches thick is ideal)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika (optional, for color)

  • Optional finishing: butter, fresh rosemary or thyme


🔥 Instructions

1️⃣ Bring steak to room temperature

Take the steak out of the fridge 20–30 minutes before cooking. This helps it cook evenly.


2️⃣ Preheat the air fryer

Preheat to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.


3️⃣ Season the steak

  • Pat steak dry with paper towels

  • Rub both sides with olive oil

  • Season evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika


4️⃣ Air fry

Place steak in the air fryer basket (don’t overcrowd).

Cook times (flip halfway):

  • Rare: 8–9 minutes (120–125°F)

  • Medium-rare: 10–11 minutes (130–135°F)

  • Medium: 12–13 minutes (140–145°F)

  • Medium-well: 14 minutes (150–155°F)

👉 Flip the steak halfway through cooking.


5️⃣ Rest the steak

Remove from air fryer and let rest 5 minutes.
(Optional: top with a small pat of butter and herbs while resting.)

  • Thicker steaks = better air fryer results
