Baked Salmon recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or dill, chopped
  • Optional: 1 tbsp butter for extra richness

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking tray or dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the tray.
  4. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Brush the mixture evenly over the salmon.
  6. Place lemon slices on top of each fillet.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, depending on thickness, until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden top.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley or dill before serving.
