Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or dill, chopped
- Optional: 1 tbsp butter for extra richness
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking tray or dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the tray.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the mixture evenly over the salmon.
- Place lemon slices on top of each fillet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, depending on thickness, until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or dill before serving.
