Broccoli, Carrot & Mushroom Stir-Fry

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots, thinly sliced (or julienned)
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1–2 tbsp oil (olive or sesame)

🧄 Aromatics

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated

🥣 Sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp honey or sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp water
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • Black pepper to taste

🌱 Garnish

  • Sesame seeds or green onions

🔪 Instructions

1. Prep First

Have everything chopped and sauce mixed—stir-frying moves fast.


2. Heat the Pan

  • Use a wok or large pan on medium-high heat
  • Add oil and let it get hot

3. Cook Aromatics

  • Add garlic + ginger
  • Stir for 20–30 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn)

4. Add Vegetables (in order)

  • Start with carrots (they take longer) → 2 minutes
  • Add broccoli → stir-fry 2–3 minutes
  • Add mushrooms → cook another 2 minutes

👉 Keep stirring so nothing sticks


5. Sauce & Steam

  • Pour in sauce + water
  • Toss everything well
  • Cover for 1–2 minutes to lightly steam

6. Finish

  • Remove lid, cook another minute to reduce sauce
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds or green onions

🍽️ Serving Ideas

  • Over steamed rice or noodles
  • With grilled chicken, shrimp, or tofu
  • As a side with any main dish

  • Keep veggies slightly crisp (don’t overcook)
