🌿 Ingredients

  • 3–4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional, for a savory touch)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Optional toppings:

  • Powdered sugar (as seen in image)
  • Sesame seeds or nuts for crunch

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:
    Set to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Prepare potatoes:
    Peel and cut into evenly sized cubes for even cooking.
  3. Season:
    In a large bowl, toss sweet potatoes with olive oil, honey/maple syrup, salt, pepper, and spices.
  4. Arrange on tray:
    Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet (don’t overcrowd).
  5. Roast:
    Bake for 25–35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and caramelized on the edges.
  6. Finish:
    Remove from oven and lightly sprinkle powdered sugar (optional) for a sweet finish.
