Carnivore Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (or pork, turkey, or sausage)

  • 6 large eggs

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped (about 6-8 slices)

  • 1/4 cup butter (for greasing the pan)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme or herbs of choice (optional)

  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

2. Cook the Meat:

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef (or pork, turkey, or sausage) over medium heat until browned. Break the meat apart as it cooks.

  • If you’re using sausage or fatty ground meat, you may want to drain excess fat.

  • Stir in cooked bacon and remove from heat.

3. Prepare the Egg Mixture:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggsheavy creamcheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese.

  • Add garlic powderonion powdersaltpepper, and any optional herbs like thyme. Mix well.

4. Assemble the Casserole:

  • Spread the cooked meat and bacon mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.

  • Pour the egg mixture over the meat and bacon, ensuring everything is evenly distributed.

5. Bake the Casserole:

  • Place the casserole in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the eggs are fully set, and the top is golden brown. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.

6. Serve:

  • Let the casserole cool slightly before slicing into squares.

  • Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley or extra cheese if desired.

Tips:

  • You can add extra cheese on top during the last 5-10 minutes of baking if you like a cheesy crust.

  • Feel free to mix in other carnivore-friendly ingredients like ground lambchopped steak, or sausage to vary the flavor.

  • If you prefer a more dense texture, you can reduce the amount of cream or add more cheese.
