Egg – 1 large
Salt – ¾ tsp
Optional: beef tallow or bacon grease – 1 tbsp (for skillet)

Mozzarella cheese (whole-milk, shredded) – 1½ cups (170 g)
Cheddar cheese (optional) – ½ cup (55 g)
Pepperoni (all-meat, no fillers) – 20–25 slices
Cooked bacon (chopped) – ½ cup (about 6 slices)
Italian sausage (cooked, crumbled) – ½ cup (100 g)
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat
Oven to 400°F / 205°C
Heat a 10–12 inch cast-iron skillet over medium heat
Lightly grease with 1 tbsp tallow or bacon grease
2️⃣ Make the meat crust
In a bowl, mix:
1 lb ground beef
1 egg
¾ tsp salt
Press mixture evenly into the hot skillet
Cook 5–6 minutes until the bottom browns
Carefully drain excess fat if needed
3️⃣ Add cheese layer
Reduce heat to low
Sprinkle:
1 cup mozzarella directly over the crust
Let melt 1–2 minutes (this acts as “sauce”)
4️⃣ Add toppings
Evenly distribute:
Pepperoni
Bacon
Sausage
Top with:
Remaining ½ cup mozzarella
½ cup cheddar
5️⃣ Bake
Transfer skillet to oven
Bake 10–12 minutes
Broil 1–2 minutes until bubbly and golden

Let rest 5 minutes
