Cheese & Herb Sandwich Spread
Ingredients
- 2 cups (200 g) cheddar cheese, finely grated
- ½ cup (120 g) mayonnaise
- 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 small carrot, finely grated
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp chives or green onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add mayonnaise and mix until creamy.
- Stir in the grated cheddar, carrot, parsley, and chives.
- Add garlic powder, pepper, salt, and lemon juice.
- Mix thoroughly until everything is evenly combined.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Serving Ideas
- Spread on toasted bread or crackers.
- Use as a sandwich filling.
- Serve as a dip for vegetables.
