Cheesy Hot Dog Tater Tot Casserole Yummy

Ingredients

  • Hot dogs: 8-10 sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • Tater tots: 1 package about 32 oz or 900g, frozen
  • Cheddar cheese: 2 cups shredded
  • Cream of mushroom soup: 1 can 10.75 oz or about 300g
  • Milk: 1/2 cup
  • Onion: 1 small diced
  • Green beans: 1 can 14.5 oz or about 400g, drained (optional)
  • Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt and pepper: to taste

Instructions

Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

Prepare the Casserole Base:

  • In a large bowl, mix the sliced hot dogs, cream of mushroom soup, milk, diced onion, drained green beans (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.

Assemble the Casserole:

  • Spread the hot dog mixture evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture.
