Crispy Air Fryer Pickles
Crunchy on the outside, tangy on the inside — these air fryer pickles are the perfect snack, appetizer, or game-day treat without deep frying!
🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)
1 jar (16 oz) dill pickle chips (or spears cut into halves)
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 tbsp milk
1 cup panko breadcrumbs (for extra crunch)
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp salt
Cooking spray or olive oil spray
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the Pickles
Drain pickles and pat them very dry with paper towels.
(Important: Extra moisture prevents crispiness!)
2️⃣ Set Up Breading Station
Bowl 1: Add flour.
Bowl 2: Whisk eggs with milk.
Bowl 3: Mix panko, garlic powder, paprika, pepper, and salt.
3️⃣ Bread the Pickles
Dip each pickle slice into flour (shake off excess).
Dip into egg mixture.
Coat in seasoned panko, pressing lightly to stick.
Place on a plate in a single layer.
4️⃣ Air Fry
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
Arrange pickles in a single layer (do not overcrowd).
Spray tops lightly with oil.
Air fry for 7–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
