Crispy Breaded Chicken Fillets
🧾 Ingredients:
🍗 For the Chicken:
- 2 large chicken breasts (sliced into fillets)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
🥣 Breading Station:
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (or panko for extra crunch)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan (optional)
- 1/2 tsp oregano or Italian seasoning
🍳 For Frying:
- Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Prepare Chicken
- Slice chicken breasts into thin fillets
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder
- Set Up Breading Station
- Bowl 1: flour
- Bowl 2: beaten eggs
- Bowl 3: breadcrumbs + Parmesan + oregano
- Coat the Chicken
- Dip each fillet in flour
- Then into egg
- Finally coat with breadcrumb mixture (press to stick well)
- Heat Oil
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat
- Fry Chicken
- Fry fillets for 4–5 minutes per side
- Cook until golden brown and crispy
- Drain & Serve
- Place on paper towels to remove excess oil
- Serve hot with your favorite dip
💡 Tips:
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness
- Don’t overcrowd the pan—fry in batches
- Pound chicken slightly for even thickness
