Crispy Breaded Chicken Fillets

🧾 Ingredients:

🍗 For the Chicken:

  • 2 large chicken breasts (sliced into fillets)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

🥣 Breading Station:

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (or panko for extra crunch)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp oregano or Italian seasoning

🍳 For Frying:

  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Prepare Chicken
    • Slice chicken breasts into thin fillets
    • Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder
  2. Set Up Breading Station
    • Bowl 1: flour
    • Bowl 2: beaten eggs
    • Bowl 3: breadcrumbs + Parmesan + oregano
  3. Coat the Chicken
    • Dip each fillet in flour
    • Then into egg
    • Finally coat with breadcrumb mixture (press to stick well)
  4. Heat Oil
    • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat
  5. Fry Chicken
    • Fry fillets for 4–5 minutes per side
    • Cook until golden brown and crispy
  6. Drain & Serve
    • Place on paper towels to remove excess oil
    • Serve hot with your favorite dip

💡 Tips:

  • Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan—fry in batches
  • Pound chicken slightly for even thickness
