Crockpot Christmas Crack (Slow Cooker Candy)

Ingredients

  • 16 oz salted peanuts (about 1 lb)

  • 16 oz unsalted peanuts

  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 12 oz milk chocolate chips

  • 10–12 oz peanut butter chips

  • 24 oz white almond bark or white candy melts


Instructions

  1. Layer the ingredients (don’t stir yet):
    Add everything to the crockpot in this order:

    • Salted peanuts

    • Unsalted peanuts

    • Chocolate chips (milk + semi-sweet)

    • Peanut butter chips

    • White almond bark or candy melts on top

  2. Cook:

    • Cover and cook on LOW for 1½–2 hours

    • Do not stir during this time

    • Check at 1½ hours—everything should look melted on top

  3. Stir:
    Once fully melted, stir gently until completely combined and smooth.

  4. Drop the candy:

    • Line baking sheets with parchment or wax paper

    • Use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop small clusters

  5. Cool & set:

    • Let harden at room temperature or refrigerate for faster setting

    • Once firm, store in airtight containers


Storage

  • Room temperature: up to 1 week

  • Refrigerator: 2–3 weeks

  • Freezer: up to 2 months


Optional Variations

  • Use only milk or dark chocolate if preferred

  • Add festive sprinkles on top before setting

  • Swap peanuts for cashews, almonds, or mixed nuts

  • Drizzle extra melted chocolate on top for decoration
