Ingredients
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 lb rotini pasta
4 tablespoons butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup reserved pasta water
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and black pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions, reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
Season steak pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steak pieces until browned, 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add cherry tomatoes and cook until slightly blistered.
Pour in heavy cream, bring to simmer.
Stir in Parmesan until sauce thickens.
Return steak to pan, add pasta and toss to coat.
Add pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.
