Garlic Butter Beef & Spinach Tortellini

🌟 Ingredients

  • 250–300g cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 250g ground beef
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • ½ cup heavy cream (optional for creamy version)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Cook the Tortellini

  • Bring salted water to a boil.
  • Cook tortellini according to package instructions (usually 3–5 minutes).
  • Drain and set aside.

2. Cook the Beef

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Add ground beef, cook until browned, breaking it apart.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Remove excess grease if needed.

3. Make Garlic Butter Base

  • Add butter to the same pan.
  • Stir in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Add Spinach

  • Toss in fresh spinach and cook until wilted.

5. Make it Creamy (Optional)

  • Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.

6. Combine Everything

  • Add cooked tortellini to the pan.
  • Toss everything together until well coated.
  • Sprinkle chili flakes if you like a little heat.

🍽️ Serving Ideas

  • Serve with garlic bread or a fresh salad
  • Add mushrooms or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor
  • Top with extra Parmesan before serving

💡 Tips

  • Use fresh tortellini for the best texture
  • Don’t overcook spinach—it cooks very fast
  • Add a splash of pasta water if sauce gets too thick
