👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix:
Soy sauce
Oyster sauce
Sesame oil
Honey
Vegetable stock
Cornstarch
Whisk well and set aside.
2️⃣ Blanch the Broccoli (Optional but Recommended)
Boil broccoli in salted water for 1–2 minutes, then drain and set aside.
This keeps it bright green and tender-crisp.
3️⃣ Sauté the Mushrooms
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.
Add mushrooms and sauté 3–4 minutes until golden and slightly caramelized.
4️⃣ Add Aromatics
Add garlic, ginger, and chili flakes.
Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn the garlic).
5️⃣ Combine Everything
Add broccoli to the pan.
Pour in the prepared sauce and toss well.
Cook 2–3 minutes, stirring gently, until the sauce thickens and coats the vegetables.
6️⃣ Finish & Garnish
Add black pepper and green onions.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Serve hot.
