Garlic Parmesan Fried Lamb Chops
🥣 Ingredients:
For the lamb:
- 8–10 lamb chops (rib or loin)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
For coating:
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (for extra crunch)
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
For frying:
- Oil (for shallow or deep frying)
Garlic butter sauce:
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional 🌶️)
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Marinate the lamb
- Pat lamb chops dry
- Rub with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, lemon juice, and olive oil
- Let marinate for 30–60 minutes (or overnight for best flavor)
2. Prepare coating
- In a bowl, mix:
- Flour
- Breadcrumbs
- Parmesan
- Oregano
3. Coat the chops
- Lightly press each lamb chop into the coating mixture
- Make sure both sides are well covered
4. Fry the lamb
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat
- Fry chops for 3–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness)
- Cook until golden brown and cooked through
5. Make garlic parmesan sauce
- In another pan, melt butter
- Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute)
- Stir in parmesan, parsley, and chili flakes
6. Finish
- Toss fried lamb chops in the garlic butter sauce
