Garlic Parmesan Fried Lamb Chops

🥣 Ingredients:

For the lamb:

  • 8–10 lamb chops (rib or loin)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For coating:

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (for extra crunch)
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning

For frying:

  • Oil (for shallow or deep frying)

Garlic butter sauce:

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional 🌶️)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Marinate the lamb

  • Pat lamb chops dry
  • Rub with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, lemon juice, and olive oil
  • Let marinate for 30–60 minutes (or overnight for best flavor)

2. Prepare coating

  • In a bowl, mix:
    • Flour
    • Breadcrumbs
    • Parmesan
    • Oregano

3. Coat the chops

  • Lightly press each lamb chop into the coating mixture
  • Make sure both sides are well covered

4. Fry the lamb

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat
  • Fry chops for 3–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness)
  • Cook until golden brown and cooked through

5. Make garlic parmesan sauce

  • In another pan, melt butter
  • Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute)
  • Stir in parmesan, parsley, and chili flakes

6. Finish

  • Toss fried lamb chops in the garlic butter sauce
    OR drizzle sauce on top before serving

💡 Tips:

  • Don’t overcrowd the pan while frying
  • Use medium heat to avoid burning coating
  • For a healthier option, air fry at 180°C for 12–15 minutes.
