Ginger Water:

Ingredients:
Fresh ginger root – 2 inches (about 5 cm), peeled and thinly sliced or grated
Water – 4 cups (1 liter)
(Optional additions):
1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (for sweetness)
1–2 tbsp lemon juice (for flavor & vitamin C)
A pinch of cayenne pepper or turmeric (for added benefits)

 Instructions:
Prepare the ginger
Peel the ginger with a spoon or peeler. Slice it thinly or grate it for stronger flavor.
Boil the water
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
Add the ginger
Once boiling, add the sliced or grated ginger. Reduce heat to a simmer.
Simmer
Let it simmer for 10–15 minutes. The longer it simmers, the stronger the flavor and benefits.
Strain
Remove from heat and strain the water into a container or teapot to remove ginger pieces.
Flavor (optional)
Add lemon juice, honey, or other optional ingredients if desired. Stir well.
Serve
Drink warm or let it cool and refrigerate for a chilled version. You can store it in the fridge for up to 3 days.
🌞 When to Drink:
Morning (on an empty stomach) – for digestion and detox.
Before meals – to stimulate appetite and digestion.
Throughout the day – as a hydrating, anti-inflammatory beverage.
