Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
- ½ yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon ginger
Preparation
- Arrange chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add remaining ingredients to the slow cooker and mix to coat chicken.
- Cover and set slow cooker to low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours. Try to avoid removing the lid as chicken cooks.
- If sauce is still thin when chicken is done cooking, remove lid and allow more liquid to cook off.
- Use two large forks to shred cooked chicken before serving.
