🧾 Ingredients
🥩 Cheesesteak filling
- 300–400g thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin works best)
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 small onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 bell pepper (thinly sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika (optional)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional but flavorful)
🧀 Keto “wrap” base
- 6–8 slices provolone, mozzarella, or cheddar cheese
(these will melt into rollable sheets)
🥣 Optional sauce
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp mustard
- ½ tsp hot sauce or chili flakes
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Cook the filling
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat
- Add onions and peppers, sauté 3–4 minutes until soft
- Add garlic and cook 30 seconds
- Add sliced beef and cook until browned (4–6 minutes)
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce
- Remove from heat
2. Make cheese “wraps”
- On a parchment-lined tray, place cheese slices in rectangles (slightly overlapping if needed)
- Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 5–7 minutes until melted and slightly golden edges appear
3. Roll the cheesesteaks
- While cheese is still warm and flexible, spoon beef mixture onto one side
- Carefully roll into a tight wrap using parchment to help shape it
- Let sit 1–2 minutes to set
4. Optional sauce
- Mix mayo, mustard, and hot sauce for dipping or drizzling
