🧾 Ingredients

🥩 Cheesesteak filling

  • 300–400g thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin works best)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 small onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional but flavorful)

🧀 Keto “wrap” base

  • 6–8 slices provolone, mozzarella, or cheddar cheese
(these will melt into rollable sheets)

🥣 Optional sauce

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • ½ tsp hot sauce or chili flakes

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Cook the filling

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat
  • Add onions and peppers, sauté 3–4 minutes until soft
  • Add garlic and cook 30 seconds
  • Add sliced beef and cook until browned (4–6 minutes)
  • Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce
  • Remove from heat

2. Make cheese “wraps”

  • On a parchment-lined tray, place cheese slices in rectangles (slightly overlapping if needed)
  • Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 5–7 minutes until melted and slightly golden edges appear

3. Roll the cheesesteaks

  • While cheese is still warm and flexible, spoon beef mixture onto one side
  • Carefully roll into a tight wrap using parchment to help shape it
  • Let sit 1–2 minutes to set

4. Optional sauce

  • Mix mayo, mustard, and hot sauce for dipping or drizzling

💡 Tips

  • Work quickly when cheese is warm—it firms up fast
  • Slice beef thin for best texture and tenderness
  • Don’t overfill or rolls may break

🔄 Variations

  • Spicy version: Add jalapeños or extra hot sauce
  • Chicken swap: Use shredded or sliced chicken instead of beef
  • Extra cheesy: Add cream cheese inside the filling
  • Oven-baked version: Bake assembled rolls for 3–4 minutes to crisp edges

🍽 Serving Ideas

  • Serve with a side salad or roasted vegetables
  • Great for keto meal prep lunches
  • Pair with sugar-free dipping sauces
