Lemon Truffles 🍋🍬
Lemon truffles are smooth, creamy, and refreshing bite-sized desserts with a bright citrus flavor. They’re easy to make with just a few ingredients and are perfect for parties, gifts, or a light sweet treat.
Ingredients 🛒
For the Truffle Filling
1 ½ cups white chocolate chips
3 tbsp heavy cream
2 tbsp unsalted butter
Zest of 1 lemon
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
½ tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
For Coating (Optional)
Powdered sugar
Shredded coconut
White chocolate (melted)
Lemon zest or yellow sprinkles
Instructions 👨🍳
1. Melt the Chocolate
Place white chocolate chips, butter, and cream in a heatproof bowl.
Heat gently over a double boiler or microwave in short intervals, stirring until smooth.
2. Add Lemon Flavor
Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
Mix well until fully combined.
3. Chill the Mixture
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1–2 hours until the mixture becomes firm enough to scoop.
4. Shape the Truffles
Scoop small portions and roll them into balls using your hands.
5. Coat the Truffles
Roll the truffles in:
powdered sugar,
shredded coconut,
or dip them in melted white chocolate.
Storage 🧊
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Let them sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before serving for the best texture.
