Mediterranean Ground Chicken Wrap with Spicy Lemon Honey Feta Cream

A juicy, herb-seasoned ground chicken filling wrapped in warm flatbread and topped with a creamy, sweet-spicy feta sauce. Perfect for a quick dinner or meal prep.


🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

Ground Chicken Filling

  • 1 lb (450g) ground chicken

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ small red onion, finely diced

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp ground coriander

  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley


Spicy Lemon Honey Feta Cream

  • ¾ cup crumbled feta cheese

  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1–2 tbsp honey (to taste)

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tsp lemon zest

  • ½–1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust for heat)

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1–2 tbsp warm water (to thin, if needed)


For Assembly

  • 4 pita breads or flatbreads

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or chopped romaine

  • ½ cup diced cucumber

  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion

  • Optional: olives, pickled onions, extra parsley


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Make the Feta Cream

  1. Add feta, Greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice, zest, and red pepper flakes to a blender or food processor.

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Drizzle in olive oil while blending.

  4. Add warm water gradually until creamy and spreadable.

  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or spice. Refrigerate until ready to use.


2. Cook the Chicken

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  2. Sauté onion for 2–3 minutes until softened.

  3. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.

  4. Add ground chicken and break apart with a spatula.

  5. Stir in oregano, cumin, paprika, coriander, salt, and pepper.

  6. Cook 6–8 minutes until fully cooked and lightly browned.

  7. Stir in lemon juice and fresh parsley. Remove from heat.


3. Assemble the Wraps

  1. Warm the pita or flatbread.

  2. Spread a generous layer of feta cream.

  3. Add ground chicken.

  4. Top with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and red onion.

  5. Drizzle extra feta cream if desired.

  6. Fold tightly and serve.

  • Add sliced avocado for creaminess

  • Sprinkle with chili flakes or drizzle chili oil for extra heat

  • Serve as a bowl over rice or quinoa instead of a wrap
