Oregano Herbal Tea

Oregano Herbal Tea (Natural Wellness Drink) 🌿🍵

Ingredients (1 cup)

  • 1 teaspoon fresh oregano leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried oregano)

  • 1 cup hot water

  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for cough soothing)

  • ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional)

  • 1 small slice ginger (optional for extra benefits)


Instructions

1. Prepare the Oregano

  1. Wash fresh oregano leaves thoroughly.

  2. Lightly crush or tear the leaves to release their natural oils.

2. Boil the Water

  • Heat 1 cup of water until it reaches a boil.

3. Steep the Tea

  1. Place oregano leaves in a cup or teapot.

  2. Pour the hot water over the leaves.

  3. Cover and let it steep for 5–7 minutes.

4. Strain

  • Strain out the leaves using a small strainer.

5. Add Flavor

  • Stir in honey and lemon juice if desired.


How to Drink

  • Drink 1–2 cups per day when you have a cold, cough, or digestion discomfort.

  • Best consumed warm.


Optional Oregano Honey Remedy 🍯

You can also make a soothing mixture:

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped oregano

  • 2 tablespoons honey

Method

  1. Mix oregano with honey.

  2. Let it sit 30 minutes.

  3. Take ½ teaspoon when needed for sore throat or cough.
