Parmesan Baked Potatoes
🥣 Ingredients:
- 4–5 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or russet)
- 3 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Prep the potatoes
- Wash and scrub potatoes well
- Cut into halves or wedges (leave skin on for crispiness)
2. Season
- In a large bowl, mix:
- Olive oil
- Garlic
- Paprika
- Oregano
- Salt & pepper
- Toss potatoes until fully coated
3. Add parmesan coating
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese and mix lightly
- For extra crisp crust:
- Spread a thin layer of parmesan directly on the baking tray
- Place potatoes cut-side down on top
4. Bake
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F)
- Bake for 35–45 minutes until:
- Golden and crispy outside
- Soft inside
5. Finish
- Remove carefully (cheese crust will stick slightly—this is the best part 😍)
- Garnish with parsley
✨ Optional Add-Ons:
- Chili flakes for spice 🌶️
- Lemon zest for freshness 🍋
- Dip with garlic mayo or yogurt sauce
💡 Tips:
- Don’t overcrowd the tray (helps crispiness)
- Flip halfway if not using cheese-crust method
- Works great in an air fryer at 180°C for 20–25 minutes.
