Parmesan Baked Potatoes

🥣 Ingredients:

  • 4–5 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or russet)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Prep the potatoes

  • Wash and scrub potatoes well
  • Cut into halves or wedges (leave skin on for crispiness)

2. Season

  • In a large bowl, mix:
    • Olive oil
    • Garlic
    • Paprika
    • Oregano
    • Salt & pepper
  • Toss potatoes until fully coated

3. Add parmesan coating

  • Sprinkle parmesan cheese and mix lightly
  • For extra crisp crust:
    • Spread a thin layer of parmesan directly on the baking tray
    • Place potatoes cut-side down on top

4. Bake

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F)
  • Bake for 35–45 minutes until:
    • Golden and crispy outside
    • Soft inside

5. Finish

  • Remove carefully (cheese crust will stick slightly—this is the best part 😍)
  • Garnish with parsley

✨ Optional Add-Ons:

  • Chili flakes for spice 🌶️
  • Lemon zest for freshness 🍋
  • Dip with garlic mayo or yogurt sauce

💡 Tips:

  • Don’t overcrowd the tray (helps crispiness)
  • Flip halfway if not using cheese-crust method
  • Works great in an air fryer at 180°C for 20–25 minutes.
