- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 1 tub cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Beat 1 of the eggs with the cream cheese, white sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Spread this mixture evenly in an unbaked pie crust.
- Sprinkle the nuts on top.
- Next, beat the rest of the eggs with the brown sugar and corn syrup.
- Pour this mixture over the nuts in the pie crust.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Turn the heat down to 375°F and bake for another 25 minute or until set.
- Cool the pie on a wire rack, then cut into slices to serve.
